Help Fund a Traveling Dulcimer for Live Performances

Hello! I'm Larry Dearing (Marietta, GA).

I play Medieval and Renaissance period music, and perform at fairs and festivals around Georgia and neighboring states. I play a variety of instruments, and have included hammered dulcimer in my two latest albums. I would very much like to also add hammered dulcimer to my live performances as well. In order to do that I need a traveling dulcimer that is a bit smaller and less sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity than my "Indoor" dulcimer.

Being retired, my "musical adventures" must be self-funding through music sales, tips, performance fees, and occasionally direct appeals such as this. My goal is modest, as is the dulcimer I've selected. The $490 I'm asking to raise will purchase the appropriate instrument including a small upgrade to laminate bridges, and of course shipping. My goal also includes being ready to include hammered dulcimer in my 2025 performance season. This means getting the dulcimer in sometime in early winter, January or February would be ideal.
