Robert Hrapsky Jr. passed away suddenly on July 15th, 2023 at the age of 36. He grew up in Highland Park, NJ with a passion for sports, especially baseball. Some of his favorite memories in life were during his time playing in a softball league with his team, The Boozehounds. Robert is survived by his parents, brothers, nephews, girlfriend, and countless family members and friends. Robert’s girlfriend, Emily, started nonprofit organization, The Robert Hrapsky Jr. Memorial Fund in 2024. Since 2024, Emily has hosted a softball tournament around the anniversary of Robert's death to celebrate his life and raise money for a memorial scholarship in Robert's name for an athlete at Highland Park High School who exemplifies some of Robert's greatest qualities - hardworking, a loyal friend, easy to get along with, generous, and accepting. This GoFund Me was created is to collect donations from anyone who is unable to attend the event. We are endlessly thankful for your generous donations. With donations from the 2024 softball tournament, we were able to award $1,500 in scholarships to two seniors at Highland Park High School graduating in 2025. We donated another $1,500 from the 2025 softball tournament that will be awarded to two graduating seniors at Highland Park High School this coming June . 100% of donations will support the scholarship fund for future graduating athletes from HPHS.
