Hi! My name is Rachel Lieberman, and I am a graduating Acting BFA student at Florida State University. Over the past three and a half years, I have grown into an artist who yearns to tell her own stories, and that's exactly what I have decided to do during my last year at FSU. I spent all of fall semester writing, rewriting, casting, editing, directing, and recruiting my crew to make this dream a reality.

My film, "Scotoma" (meaning the blindspot of the eye) is a cumulation of all the love I have experienced and the hardships I have overcome during my time at college. It's a story about a brilliant artist who goes blind painting the sun, and meets a girl who becomes the metaphorical embodiment of the sun blinding her.
