Hey there fellow Horror Nerds! My name is Dillon Brown - Writer/Director of the Tahoe Joe films, The Summer We Died, and The Flock, plus many more. My films have all made it to large scale streamers, such as Amazon Prime and Tubi, and we have acquired a very dedicated fanbase in our niche of horror: Found Footage.

My next film, A MAN IN THE WOODS WITH AN AXE, is just that! Except, it’s not… this film will be my most challenging exercise yet, as I’m planning to mash genres, techniques and storytelling into a very unique horror experience. But I need some help to get this one off the ground!

We are looking for donations to help us with props for the film, and to pay the extremely talented makeup artists we will need for the gore effects. We already have the cameras and the lights and everything else needed, but we need some very particular props and makeup effects done - and you could help!

As a thank you from us, we will include you in the credits and even give you IMDb credits if you wish. I will also make sure all donors are invited to the film’s premiere. We plan to shoot starting in May and (hopefully!) wrap in September.
