Shelbi Wallace, the 2024-2025 Tennessee FFA State Secretary, has recently have been accepted into the ILSSO (International Leadership Seminar for State Officers) program by National FFA! 75 State Officers from around the country are selected in a competitive application process to participate in ILSSO. This year, the program is traveling to Spain and Portugal in January 2025! Through this two-week trip, she will be able to tour agricultural facilities, gain more knowledge on the agriculture industry across boarders, and use her leadership skills to make an impact across the globe.

A little bit Shelbi is that she was raised on a small beef cattle farm in McEwen, Tennessee. This is where she developed a deep appreciation for agriculture and the hard work that it entails. Through her involvement in the McEwen FFA Chapter, she honed her leadership skills, working her way up to being elected as the Tennessee FFA State Secretary for the 2024-2025 term. Her passion for agriculture and dedication to leadership development have paved the way for her to represent Tennessee on a global stage.
