As you probably know, I am currently in graduate school pursuing my masters degree in speech-language pathology. I had posted about a travel abroad opportunity during my 2nd semester but that fell through due to my clinical rotation - now it’s my turn to have this exciting opportunity! My program is traveling to Belize to provide speech therapy services to a diverse group of clients. This trip is for about 10 days in May of 2026. This is something I didn’t think I’d ever get to do and I need help getting the funds needed for the trip. The total is about $4,000 and includes airfare, food, lodging, and excursions to learn about the culture and lifestyle in Belize. I have applied for a scholarship that graciously offered me $1,000 already, but I still need about $3,000 to meet the cost for this experience. I am going to apply for another scholarship in the spring, but it is not guaranteed I will get any more grants!
