It is with great sorrow and broken hearts, we have lost our Amy. Amy had a medical condition called Marfan Syndrome since birth. This is a very rare heart condition, that requires medical treatment, but there is no cure. She passed away early Sunday morning from an aortic dissection. The doctors said she wouldn’t have survived the surgery she needed to get. We went from hospital to hospital trying to find a way to help her and she was life flighted twice in one day. Her organs began to shut down shortly after the second flight and she couldn’t fight any longer.
From the time she was born she was a fiery, sassy, loving and sweet little redhead. She always wanted to help everyone and make everyone proud. Anyone who ever met her never forgot about her, she made an impact on everyone she met. We love her and will miss her terribly and the world won’t be the same without her in it.
Unfortunately, as everyone knows funerals are ridiculously expensive, and she carried no life insurance on herself. So, we would appreciate any help. Whether that be through a donation or sharing the link to this fundraiser. If you have no way to share or donate, we would appreciate your prayers.
Thank you,
The family of Amy
