Help Fund a Citizen-Led Town Hall in Bozeman

Donation protected
Hi, I’m Trey Alvey, a Bozeman resident organizing a non-partisan, public town hall on Saturday, May 31 at 11:00 AM at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds Indoor Arena. This event isn’t backed by any political group or organization, just a local citizen who is feeling and seeing the effects of recent government policy decisions.

The goal of this town hall is simple: to create a space where our community can come together and talk directly with elected officials about how recent federal policy changes are impacting life here in Montana. We’ve invited Representative Ryan Zinke, Senators Steve Daines, and Tim Sheehy to hear from and speak with the people they represent.

The event will include a moderated panel and open Q&A session. It’s free and open to the public. All are welcome, and seating is first-come, first-served. Lawn chairs are encouraged for comfort in designated areas.

Why I Need Your Help
While this event is independently organized, there are real costs involved. Here’s the full budget that I’ve had to pay out of pocket:
  • $185 – Seating and fairgrounds equipment
  • $360 – Venue rental
  • $176 – Insurance
  • $225 – Security
  • $44 – Miscellaneous expenses
Total: $990

Your donation, whether it's $5 or $50, goes directly toward covering these costs. Every dollar helps make this town hall a reality. This is about showing that citizens can lead the conversation, and that community-based dialogue still matters. Thank you so much for supporting this effort.
