Anyone who knew Swan knew he was a hard working man, a loyal friend, and loved his family.
Around labor day this year, he was diagnosed with Non Small Cell Lunger Cancer. Before any official biopsies or plan of care could take place it was discovered that the cancer had metastasized to his brain and he had a large tumor growing. He was a soldier and underwent brain surgery to have the tumor removed, and was pushing through to recover. Unfortunately, the cancer was too progressive, growing more into his lungs, lymph nodes, and back into his brain. Every minute he stayed fighting until his body was too tired. Before any chemo or radiation took place, his family was floored to find out the cancer is just too much and he is not a candidate for chemo. The plan of care now is to keep him comfortable and surrounded with those who love him. His wish is to be buried along side his mother and father, however this is a heavy weight on his families shoulders. We are asking for any help at all to fulfill our father's wishes and give him the send off he deserves. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
