Our beloved sister, daughter, aunt, and friend Rosie Puig, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. This has been an incredibly difficult time for our entire family.

Rosie was always cheerful and full of life. She had a playful spirit and loved to joke about everything and anything. Even in her final hours, she found a way to smile and bring light to those around her. That was who Rosie was: strong, loving, faithful, and full of grace.

She was a devoted Catholic who served as a deacon. She lived her faith through her kindness and generosity. Rosie had a special love for children and would do anything for her nephews and the many kids in our family. She brought joy everywhere she went.

Rosie will be deeply missed by her mother, Rosa Puig Sr., her sisters Lizette and Erika, and all her nephews, as well as the many children whose lives she touched.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses and to honor Rosie’s final wishes. She wanted to be laid to rest alongside her daughter in Nogales, Arizona.
