My name is Emily. I am the daughter of Tammy and Randy Loudermelt. I recently moved to OKI to help with my elderly parents’s, due to their health issues.

On 02/26/2025, my Dad, Randy, suffered a major heart attack while working in the yard. He coded three times on the way to the hospital in Wilmington. He underwent open heart surgery, and it was successful, but he struggled for weeks to breath. His organs started to shut down, and his left lung collapsed on him while in the ICU.

My Dad, Randy, was an amazing man. To know him was to love him. That man was a real “superman.” A real, true soldier. He was all about his family; his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his friends. He adored his fur baby, Miyagi. He was an all around great guy… an amazing Dad and an amazing Husband.

On 04/01/2025, my Dad was taken off of life support, where he fought for a little more than two hours on his own, until he passed at 2:44pm. He fought the longest battle.

I know what my Dad’s wishes were, and as his daughter, I’d like to respect those wishes.

If anyone would like to donate to my Dad’s funeral arrangements, it would be greatly appreciated. Anything donated will go directly towards funeral expenses per his wishes. If there’s any funds remaining, they will go directly to his wife.
