Help Fulfill Our Dad's Final Wish

Our dad Aquillo Duenas went into surgery on March 2nd, 2022, for an eye procedure. With our dad's health issues, we knew he was a high-risk patient, but we were under the impression that the worst possible outcome was losing his eyesight. Unfortunately, during surgery, he went into cardiac arrest and was admitted to the CCU. At one point, he was connected to every form of life support available. He showed some progress in his last few days and was stabilizing but was still considered very sick. Early morning on March 17, he once again went into cardiac arrest.

Our dad sacrificed so much for not only his wife and kids, but to provide for his family members in the Philippines. We, Melissa Nichole, Kevin John, and Quilcriz, owe it to our dad to try and fulfill his wish to be buried in the Philippines with his parents. With his passing coming so quickly and unexpectedly, we wanted to reach out to our friends, family, and community for help to make this happen.
