Ms. Gibson was one of the strongest and most courageous women you could ever meet. Born in the 1950s, her life was a tapestry of incredible stories — from thrilling tales of bank heists and car chases to owning nightclubs and exotic venues. Through it all, she carried herself with unshakable grit and unforgettable grace.

She experienced deep personal loss — her mother, father, sister, and many close loved ones — yet still helped raise a fine gentleman, leaving a legacy of strength, love, and perseverance. She had the blessing of meeting her great-, great-great-, and even third-generation grandchildren, a rare and beautiful gift.

Ms. Gibson lived through historic catastrophes, fought through and beat COVID-19, and survived two strokes within a single year. Her resilience was nothing short of extraordinary.

For the last 14 years, I’ve had the honor of being her caregiver, and now, as her great-nephew, I am committed to fulfilling her final wishes. She wanted her ashes taken to California, a place that held special meaning for her, and I am making sure her journey ends just the way she envisioned — with dignity, love, and peace.

I’m raising funds to cover the costs of her cremation, her urn, travel to and from California, and to properly care for her personal belongings and final effects. This is more than a task — it’s a tribute to a woman who gave everything she had to those she loved.
