With broken hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Dad, Mauro Ramos, also known as MEMIN, who left us just yesterday, August 2nd, after a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer.

Our dad fought with incredible strength, grace, and dignity through every stage of his illness. Even in pain, he remained the kind, loving, and selfless person we all knew him to be, putting others first, keeping his sense of humor, and never losing hope. His fight was long and hard, but he never gave up, and neither did we.

Our family has been forever changed by this loss. Our dad was the heart of our home, the one who brought us together, who listened without judgment, and who made sure everyone felt loved. Losing him has left a hole we can never fill.

One of our dad's final wishes was to be laid to rest in Mexico, the place he loved most and considered home in every sense. It was where he felt closest to his roots, his peace, and his happiest memories. We are doing everything we can to honor that wish, but the cost of transporting him and arranging a proper burial there has placed an even greater burden on our family.

We are humbly asking for your help. All donations will go directly toward fulfilling his final wish, to bring him home to Mexico, and to cover funeral and memorial expenses.

Con el corazón destrozado, compartimos la triste noticia del fallecimiento de nuestro querido Papá Mauro Ramos o mejor conocido como MEMIN, quien nos dejó el día de ayer, Agosto 2, después de una valiente batalla contra el cáncer de colon en etapa 4.

Nuestro papá luchó con una fuerza, dignidad y gracia increíbles durante cada etapa de su enfermedad. Incluso con dolor, seguía siendo la persona amorosa, amable y generosa que todos conocíamos, siempre pensando en los demás, manteniendo su sentido del humor, y sin perder nunca la esperanza. Su lucha fue larga y dura, pero nunca se rindió, y nosotros tampoco.

Nuestra familia ha quedado profundamente marcada por su partida. Nuestro papá era el corazón de nuestro hogar—la persona que nos unía, que escuchaba sin juzgar, y que siempre se aseguraba de que todos se sintieran amados. Su ausencia ha dejado un vacío que jamás podrá llenarse :(

Uno de sus últimos deseos fue ser sepultado en México, el lugar que más amaba y al que siempre llamó hogar. Ahí es donde se sentía en paz, cerca de sus raíces y de sus recuerdos más felices. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible por cumplir ese deseo, pero el costo de trasladar su cuerpo y realizar un entierro digno allá representa una carga muy grande para nuestra familia.

Con humildad, pedimos tu apoyo. Cada donación irá directamente a cumplir su último deseo, llevarlo de regreso a México, y cubrir los gastos del funeral y el memorial.
