Help Fulfill Jim Scullin's Home Renovation Dreams
Donation protected
Jim Scullin was a man who was constantly giving of himself for the benefit of others. He was an actor, a contractor, a fine woodworker, a father, and a devoted life-partner. He was widely known in his community for his many roles in a wide variety of theatre productions. But he was best known for his amazing construction and woodworking skills as a contractor, and his generosity linked to his nearly 30 years on the Board of Hearts & Hammers.
Like so many who give so much, he left some things undone. He and Gay had plans and dreams for completing projects in their home which would make their later years more comfortable and far safer. However, Jimmy passed too soon, and many of those home projects remain to be completed.
We, his friends, want to honor Jim's years of generosity to the Whidbey Island community by gathering forces and coming together to complete the "some-day" projects into a reality for Gay's home. This GoFundMe effort will provide all the funds directly to Jim's life-partner, Gay, so that she can pay for the materials necessary to complete the updating and renovation work they had dreamed of together.
