Hello, my name is Lupe Castellanos, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my family's story. My family and I are devastated by the passing of my dad Javier Castellanos-Flores (08/10/1969-07/20/2025). He was a beloved father, husband, brother, son, neighbor, and friend to all who knew him.

After dealing with End Stage Renal Disease for most of his life, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Transitional Cell Carcinoma (Urothelial) in May 2025. He lost his battle with this aggressive cancer due to severe complications brought on by the disease on July 20th, 2025.

We are currently trying to raise funds in order to complete his final wish of his ashes being taken back to his hometown in Jalisco, Mexico as his last resting place. Many unexpected expenses have also come with his passing such as high medical bills due to his complex health issues and covering cremation costs. Any remaining funds will be used toward covering active debts/bills left behind by Javier's tragic passing.

Hola, me llamo Lupe Castellanos y agradezco mucho que se hayan tomado el tiempo de leer la historia de mi familia. Mi familia y yo estamos devastados por el fallecimiento de mi padre, Javier Castellanos Flores (08/10/1969-07/20/2025). Fue un querido padre, esposo, hermano, hijo, vecino y amigo para todos los que lo conocieron.

Tras padecer enfermedad renal terminal durante la mayor parte de su vida, en Mayo de 2025 le diagnosticaron carcinoma de células transicionales (urotelial) en etapa 3. Perdió la batalla contra este cáncer agresivo debido a las graves complicaciones derivadas de la enfermedad el 20 de Julio de 2025.

Actualmente estamos recaudando fondos para cumplir su último deseo: que sus cenizas sean trasladadas a su ciudad natal en Jalisco, México, como su última morada. Su fallecimiento también ha generado muchos gastos inesperados, como las elevadas facturas médicas debido a sus complejos problemas de salud y gastos de cremación. Los fondos restantes se utilizarán para cubrir las deudas y facturas pendientes tras el trágico fallecimiento de Javier.
