Cynthia “Cindy” Brown, 65, of Greensboro, NC, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2025.

She was born on October 28th, 1959, to Herschel and Lillian Brewer in Calumet Township, Indiana. She graduated from Calumet High School and then went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. She found her niche in quality control, enjoying the work that she did and the relationships she formed with her coworkers. Cindy was a Girl Scout when she was child and then later became a troop leader. She loved to go camping at Red Mill. She also loved to sew, making blankets for those she loved.

Nothing compared to the love that she had for her children and grandchildren. They were the center of her world, and she was the center of theirs. She was very proud of all of them and never missed a chance to make sure they knew that.

Cindy is survived and missed by her daughters, Caren Brown, Megan Brown, and Rhonda (Tyler) Petrie. Her grandchildren Kyler, Leah, Kaleb, and Jason. Also, her brothers Kevin (Melinda) Brewer, and Greg (Helen) Brewer.

She is preceded in death by her father Herschel, mother Lillian, and brother Jim.
