Decorated police veteran Lt. Phil Trent was recently diagnosed with inoperable colon cancer, in addition to several other serious health conditions. He is terminally ill. Phil is currently in hospice care. Born and raised in South Bend, Phil is a cherished Dad to four wonderful children, a beloved friend, partner, and a close buddy to countless friends. Doctors believe he has only a few days left. (12-1-25) Phil's final wishes are to be cremated. We now have the opportunity to help him with this last wish.
