I hope this post finds each of you well.

With some hesitancy, I am writing this post because as many of you who know me, know that this is not my norm, but today I am making an EXCEPTION as I felt an overwhelming amount of compassion to solicit the assistance of my family & friends on behalf of a family I am connected to who is currently dealing with a devastating amount of circumstances and is going through a rough time (financially & emotionally).

I am reaching out to my connection of family and friends to ask that you join me by helping ease the financial challenges of the family by supporting/donating any amount you can and definitely by lifting them up in prayer because they can use the strength from the prayers at this time. Even the smallest contribution would help ease their burden during this difficult time. Your kindness and support would mean the world to them and to me.

Brief Story Details

In the depths of every parent’s nightmare, the family faces an unimaginable reality. Having already endured the devasting loss of one child in a tragic automobile accident, they are now walking through the darkest valleys once again. Their second child is fighting a battle that has brought them to hospice care’s doorstep. At just 27 years old, their child’s vibrant life has been interrupted by an aggressive cancer diagnosis with a grim prognosis. Throughout the past few years, the parents have stood steadfast by their child’s side, sacrificing a lot – some of their savings, their workhours, loss of income due to having to take off, copays/deductibles, medical equipment and supplies, treatments, home related expenses, personal care items and their very peace of mind in the determined fight to save their child or at least prolong life. Despite the weight of the medical condition, their child remains cheerful and upbeat. She dreams of continuing to create lasting memories with her parents, including her last wish to visit Sea World one last time with her parents, a simple desire that now seems monumental given the current circumstances.

I believe that together, we can assist this family with some of the continued financial cost they are experiencing and make the last wish of their child come true by making a meaningful difference in their lives. Every donation will be used to support with medical cost and needs and to off-set other financial needs the family is faced with during this time.
