Hamid, a 57 year old Algerian man diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, is currently immobile due to his severe condition. He is a wholesome individual, loved and valued by many in the community. His condition has affected those around him deeply. He was initially diagnosed with lung and kidney cancer, however the cancer soon traveled and spread to his brain. He has undergone all the required chemotherapy, yet its proved ineffective.

 

He’s in a critical condition and has been informed by his doctors that he hasn’t got much time left. His condition deteriorates by the day, and his ability to even speak is hindered by his state. He expressed that his wish would be to die amongst his loved ones, being his family members, in his homeland Algeria. He hasn’t seen his family in over 3 years due to the restrictions that pandemic imposed.

 

He now requires a sum of £20,000 in order to travel via an Air Ambulance and fulfil his last wish, which is to see his mother and die in his homeland amongst his loved ones and be buried beside his father. The sum will cover the expenses of his travel and the facilities required to ensure he makes the journey. The support would be deeply appreciated.
