Let’s Help Repatriate Mr Ali Ateş

Dear brothers and sisters,

It is with deep sadness that I only learned last night that Mr Ali Ateş, originally from Bozhüyük village, Yatağan district, Muğla, who passed away a month ago, is still in the mortuary at Derby City Hospital.

His final wish was to be buried in the village where he was born and raised.

He has two sons in Turkey; however, one is not of sound mind and the other is in very weak financial circumstances. For this reason, Family do not have the means to cover the cost of repatriating the body to Turkey and the funeral company’s expenses, which amount to around £5,500.

At this point, the responsibility falls upon us . I kindly and sincerely appeal to all our generous countrymen and brothers and sisters to contribute, whether small or large, so that the funeral can be arranged and he can be taken to his homeland as soon as possible.

Fulfilling his final wish to rest in his homeland – together we can grant him the dignity of his last journey and lay him to rest in his village.

May God accept all your good deeds and support.
