On September 1, 2026, my family and I will begin the biggest adventure Cam’s Brain has ever attempted.
The mission is called The Pursuit: an 18-day documentary road-trip challenge covering more than 8,000 miles, approximately 20 states, and 52 Buc-ee’s stops. At every location, we must make a purchase, save the receipt, and document the visit before our limited travel budget runs out.
This is more than a Buc-ee’s trip. Along the way, we’ll also introduce viewers to locally owned restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, and community-minded businesses that make each destination special.
We’ve already made meaningful progress. Kia on Atlantic has generously committed a Kia Telluride as our official challenge vehicle, local businesses have agreed to host portions of the journey, and The Pursuit will be introduced on River City Live in Jacksonville.
Although the vehicle partnership removes one major obstacle, we still need help covering:
• Fuel for more than 8,000 miles
• Required vehicle insurance
• Lodging not provided by partners
• Meals and essential travel expenses
• Tolls, parking, and emergency costs
• Camera storage and production supplies
Every contribution—whether it covers a gallon of gas, a meal, or part of a hotel stay—moves us one mile closer to completing The Pursuit.
