My name is Kourtney Pringle and I'm 5 years old. I have qualified for state at the TAAF track and field Games of Texas in Brownsville, Texas, from July 25th - July 28th. This is my first year competing in track, running the 50m and 100m dash. I was nervous my first day of practice, only running the 50m in 10.5 seconds and the 100m in 22.2 seconds. I'm happy to say I have worked hard and have a great coach who trained me to get faster and stronger, bringing my 50m time down to 9.4 and my 100m time to 20.3, which has allowed me to qualify for state!

I have done the hard part in qualifying for state, now comes the part where I'm asking for help in traveling the 550 miles to get there to finish my journey for the track season. I'm incredibly grateful for any support you can offer, whether it's a donation or simply sharing my story with your family and friends.
