BIRTHDAY FUNDRAISER

Have you ever had somebody in your life who understood you when nobody didn't? Someone who advocated for you? Someone who brought hope back into your life and made you realize your worth, time and time again? My high school youth ministry core team became that light for me. And now I'm doing what I can to pay it forward as a youth minister at Resurrection of the Lord Church in Waipio, Hawaii.

This would be my fourth year as a youth minister and I strongly believe that formation and spiritual growth should always continue. Having to navigate ministry post-pandemic has been a challenging but life-changing opportunity/blessing.

The mission to lead teens closer to Christ became my life's purpose and the sole reason why I'm a huge advocate for the young Church! I was awe-spired by the Life Teen ministers who came before me because of their conviction to serve God and his people. I only hope to be that same light for teens by using the gifts that God has given me for His kingdom purpose no matter where I am in the world.

With that being said, I've decided to do a birthday fundraiser to help get my ministry core team to Life Teen’s Catholic Youth Ministry Convention in Phoenix, Arizona. The conference is from June 9-12, and it’s days full of breakout sessions and workshops focused on helping my team and I strengthen our skills and become stronger ministers for teens.

Please consider giving a donation, and if you’re unable to, I ask that you please keep me and my small (but mighty) team in your prayers! Even a small donation will help me achieve our goal.

My goal is to reach $3,000 by June 5.
