Hi everyone!
We’re FTC Team 17315 Tomahawk, a passionate high school robotics team from Austin with a mission to learn, innovate, and inspire through STEM. After a season of hard work, dedication, and creativity, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve been invited to compete at the Chicago Robotics Invitational (CRI), an elite off-season FIRST Tech Challenge event held this July!
This is an incredible opportunity for our team to compete against some of the top FTC teams across the world, learn from others, and represent our school and community on a larger stage.
But we need your help to get there.
Why We’re Fundraising
Traveling to Chicago is exciting, but also expensive. We’re raising $2000 to cover:
- Transportation
- Hotel and lodging for our team
- Food during the trip
- Shipping or transporting our robot and tools
- Event-related costs
Every dollar brings us one step closer to the experience of a lifetime. Your support helps not just with travel, but also empowers us to grow as engineers, problem-solvers, and teammates.
About Us
Tomahawk is a team built on collaboration, creativity, and resilience. We design, build, and program robots to compete in the global FTC challenge. Along the way, we develop real-world skills in coding, mechanical design, and teamwork, all while having fun and inspiring younger students in our community through outreach events.
How You Can Help
Donate whatever you can. Every bit helps!
Share our GoFundMe with your friends, family, and on social media!
Thank you so much for supporting the next generation of innovators. We can’t wait to make you proud in Chicago!
With gratitude,
FTC 17315 Tomahawk
