Help Fruity Moto Keep Their Doors Open
Donation protected
Hi! We're Ben & Gaby, husband and wife and the owners of Fruity Moto. We are a small family-run business, established in 2016 when we started with just a food truck.
We opened our first brick-and-mortar location in October 2019 on the Windsor Town Green. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, we were evacuated due to the Kincaide fire. Thankfully the fire spared our business. But shortly after returning to work, our cafe was directly impacted by Covid-19. Our company was forced to adopt new ordinances to remain open. We worked hard to weather the pandemic through changes to the industry and brief closures when our family members had the virus and Ben needed an unforeseen surgery.
As our cafe struggled to survive these overwhelming challenges, we faced yet another obstacle to overcome. The Town of Windsor closed the main road leading to our cafe for a year-long construction project, drastically impacting our sales.
Despite our hard work adapting through the past three years, we are still struggling. Therefore, we humbly ask our local community to come to our aid to:
1. Keep the cafe doors open
2. Hire employees so Gaby can take maternity leave in April
3. Repair our food truck so we can adapt and offer catering services to keep the food truck in business
4. Payback our excellent contractors for the build on our recently opened Santa Rosa location
We are grateful for your consideration and assistance in keeping our beloved family business going. We love what we do and want to continue to serve the community we care about. Thank you for your help.
