Help Front Line Workers Impacted by COVID-19

Imagine not being able to buy food for your family. Imagine not being able to keep your lights on or your house warm or cool. Imagine the constant calls to pay bills or the fear of where your next meal or meals for your children will come from. That is what is happening daily to so many first responders and front line workers. people that were there for everyone and still are throughout and during this COVID-19 pandemic. One EMT told me that he had to make the decision the other day between buying food and taking the bus to work. I was able to get him some food and give him a Dunkin donuts gift card that I had in my pocket. Another volunteer EMT lost his job and they notified him through email. He went on hundreds if not thousands of calls to help people without thinking twice to save lives and putting his own at risk during this pandemic. A dietary Aide in a long term care facility told us that her husband was laid off and she is now the sole breadwinner. She is scared and doesn't know what to do. These are some of the stories we have been hearing over and over again. These Nurses, EMTs, Paramedics, PCAs, HHAs, Housekeepers, maintenance workers, grocery store workers are your neighbors. They can be your family, friends etc.. that need help but don't know where to turn. Please donate to help front line workers who are still fighting a financial battle after COVID-19.
