Empower Frontline Make & Give Masks Covid19

It breaks my heart that the front line health care workers and anyone who has to work in the public are having a hard time doing their job, risking their lives and the lives of others. I  need to do something to help with the shortage of masks to help protect the front line workers from the covid-19 pandemic. I have been thinking about when Australia was burning,  people globally came together and sewed pouches to help the kangaroos. Well I'm proud and blessed  to say I know the most amazing people from many different hutterite colonies and they would love to get on board to help but unfortunately they don't have the financial capabilities to help to the capacity that needs to happen quickly! So I thought I would start this page and see what could happen . I would like to buy Rolls of elastic, Bolts of 100% Cotton, Bolts of Damask, Flannel Material,  Interlacing , Wire, Needles & Thread. I'm going to reach out to everyone I know and hopefully, this will reach many other hearts as well, to help protect and  save lives! I understand that there are many scammers in this world and if that's a concern and you still want to help, I would love to direct you to order material online and send it directly to one of these colonies.  I'm also hoping that this can go much bigger and so we can get anyone who has a sewing machine to help this cause. I just have to start somewhere. We have a few rolls of material, that we found, that has already been donated but we can't get that far without elastic and other materials. We would like to make machine washable pouches, so they can insert a mask inside and will make reusing masks a little safer for our doctors, health care workers and anyone in the front line, pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations and all essential services. Personally I feel that everyone should be wearing a mask to help flatten this curve.
