this is my 1st time doing a go fund me

Hello, my name is Jamie, I’ve always said I would never do a go fund me but sadly I am left with no choice, if I want my normal life back I need help . It all started around 6 years ago I started getting serious lower back pain which caused sciatica down my left bum cheek/leg. I went to GP and they gave me naproxen.

foward 6 years later it has gotten a lot worse to the point I struggle to walk, hold my children, carry things. I’ve been signed off on the sick for a month, due back next week and my back in no way better. I’ve been seeing a chiropractor for several months with no relief from symptoms. He advised I had an MRI scan. I went to my gp who then referred me to the MSK team ( so I was led to believe )

i ended up in A and E who said I didn’t meet the criteria for an MRI So thanks to my lovely community on TikTok I was able to raise th funds for a private MRI which shows I have got a bad bulging disk.

I phone the msk team to find out where I am on the list and turns out my GP hadn’t sent the referral to them so now I am left not knowing what’s going on and in so much pain, it’s ruining my life!! I have visited spire hospital who gave me a number to ring so I did and for th consultation and a cortisone injection it’s £2250 and that is per injection ( £2000) how I’m just looking for 1 injection to hep me get out of pain while I sort this out with my gp and get the help I’m rightly entitled to. I have worked most of my life and paid my ni and tax and I’m being pushed to go private just to get out of pain.
