Help from Hurricane Helene

Dear Friends,

We are reaching out to you in a time of great need. Recently, our home was severely flooded, causing extensive damage to our living space and destroying much of our furniture and belongings. This unexpected disaster has left us in a difficult situation.

I was able to check out my house about 2 hours ago but it is too dangerous to stay. 6 feet of water took over my house and has caused the loss of everything in my home.

The floodwaters rose quickly, and despite our best efforts to save what we could, the damage was overwhelming. Our living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and even our cherished personal items have been ruined. The cost of repairs and replacing my furniture is far beyond what I can manage on my own.

I am asking for your support to help Rae & I get back on our feet. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our journey to find a new home to move to as mine is unsalvageable. Your generosity will go directly towards:

1. Hotel/airbnb costs until I can find a new place.

2. Replacing essential furniture and appliances, clothes, toys, literally everything..

3. Costs of cleaning, moving, deposits and fees for a new apartment/house.
