Help Frogtown Family Avoid Eviction

Hi!

My name is Melissa and I serve in the Frogtown community in the Twin Cities. An immigrant family who is part of this community is in need of a helping hand.

This family was recently served an eviction notice stating they need to be out of their home before Nov 26 unless they are able to pay rent owed. The mother is an amazing hard working mom with two sweet little girls and has already paid the majority of what is needed to keep a roof over their heads. However, she is struggling to come up with the remaining $1,700. Let's come together and help lift this family up by relieving some of their financial burden. Even better - let's really bless them by raising more than the goal sum to give them some cushion as they get back on their feet.

I was with this mother today helping call the organizations given to me by some of you on fb. Thank you for your recommendations! Although we have been able to locate temporary housing for this mother and her daughters after Nov. 26th if needed, the goal is for this family to stay together in their current home. The impacts of this housing crisis go beyond this mother and her daughters as there are two other individuals who call this place home who will be experiencing homelessness in the event of an eviction next week. With your help, we can prevent this from becoming their reality. They are young adults who are willing and eager for construction work. They only speak Spanish. Please let me know if you are aware of any needs they could fill in your networks.
