Hi, my name is Angie and I’m asking for help for my little puppy, Frodo. He recently had an accident and fell backward, and since then he hasn’t been able to use his hind leg. After taking him to the vet, they told me he needs surgery to recover and prevent long-term damage. The estimate for surgery is more than I can afford right is now as a single mom, but I love this puppy so much — he’s part of our family, and my 6-year-old son Liam adores him. Frodo is truly Liam’s best friend, and he’s also hoping and praying for his puppy to have a good recovery so they can play together again. I’m doing everything I can, but I need help.
My puppy Frodo is a joyful, loving companion who recently had a terrible accident at home. He fell backwards off the couch and immediately stopped using his back left leg. When I tried to comfort him, he cried out in pain whenever his leg was touched or moved, and he hasn’t been able to walk normally since. I rushed him to the vet, where they found pain in his hip and stifle area. The vet believes Frodo has an injury in his left hind leg, likely affecting his hip or knee (stifle), and recommended surgery to help him recover. Right now, Frodo is non–weight-bearing, has pain with movement, and may have a ligament or joint injury that needs surgical correction. Without surgery, the risk of long-term pain, limping, or joint damage is high, and I want to do everything I can to give him the best chance at a healthy, happy life.
All funds raised will go directly toward Frodo’s surgery. The amount needed does not include the follow-up visits or rehabilitation he may need afterward. As a single mom, it’s very hard for me to come up with this amount on my own. My goal is simply to cover the surgery so Frodo can get the care he needs and stop being in pain. If donations pass the surgery cost, anything extra will go toward his first follow-up visit and basic recovery needs.
Any amount you can give will truly make a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this link means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my baby get the chance to run and play again.
