Frodo, my 4-year-old Papillon, is fighting for his life right now. Three days ago, he suddenly became ill, and this morning we woke up to him having seizures and being unresponsive. His illness is still unknown, and he was rushed to the hospital where he is now in critical condition. The doctors have him on IVs and antiviral medications, doing everything they can to stabilize him and find out what’s wrong.

We don’t have the funds to pay for his hospital stay past today. We put today’s bill on a credit card, but it was a significant expense. Frodo needs to stay in the hospital for as long as possible to give him a fighting chance, but we simply can’t afford the ongoing costs without help. Every dollar will go directly toward his care, tests, and treatment so he can hopefully come home to us.

Frodo is everything to our family. He’s loving, playful, and has brought so much joy into our lives. Any help we can get to keep him in the hospital as long as he needs would mean the world to us. Prayers and support are deeply appreciated as we try to give Frodo the best chance to recover.
