Help Fritz Fight Cancer!

Hi everybody,
As some of you know, my sweet angel dog Fritz was diagnosed with cancer this month. We don't need to get into too many details, other than to say where there was once a small inconspicuous node, a larger mass sprung up, and we needed to get it removed right away-- plus some lymph nodes. We went to a specialty vet in Minnesota on May 9-- the outstanding Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota-- and a few weeks later we went back for his first round (of 6) of chemo. Fritz has been a champ, and is hanging in there really well so far.
Those of you who know Fritz understand why I'm throwing everything I can at this. For one thing, Fritz just hasn't even been sick yet. And despite a pretty invasive surgery, he's bounced back from everything so far with style, energy and personality intact. For those of you who haven't met Fritz in person -- there is really no way I can adequately express in words what a special boy he is. He's a quiet, wise dog with intensely kind eyes and a part-time job visiting hospice patients. He is a Buddha dog, and a walking advertisement for adoption. He has been the one constant bright light in my life in the very chaotic last 7 years. Nobody wants to lose him -- especially me-- and I like to think we might not have to just yet.
Paying for all of this is a real blow, though. I am trying not to think about the lady behind the desk at the home vet's office who recently told me (pre-diagnosis) that nobody really takes pet insurance, and that I probably didn't need it. Since I heeded that unfortunate bit of non-wisdom, I am now looking for help paying for Fritz's surgery and chemo. I'm already over my head, having already shelled out for the surgery and chemo 1, with five more chemos to go. It's just a lot. It's too much. But I'm doing it. I don't really see how I could not.
If you know Fritz, or you know me, or you know Fritz and me, I would be so grateful for any help I can get getting through this with a little less stress. It's humbling and difficult to ask for money, but I am willing to do it for Fritz, because he's Fritz, and he deserves it.
