Help Friends of Meri Cox Gyves end her cancer

Friends of Meri ask all who know this loving and smiling lady to help her fight multiple cancers. Hoping for a 2023 cancer free finding (following the 2018 BRCA PAL-B-2 diagnosis & 5 years of abdominal/pelvic treatments & surgeries) -- Meri received a new diagnosis and the finding of a rare, aggressive breast cancer that is spreading into the lymph nodes. This finding stalled the prior abdominal/pelvic treatment regimen, requiring surgery in response to the new cancer this year. This is also being accompanied by months of aggressive weekly chemo then daily radiation treatments continuing into early Summer. That's a body-slam for anybody!

Yet Meri's smile and 'up' attitude continues. Never being one to "let the bastards get her down" Meri has hit her treatments head-on! Beach walks are fewer as the body slows. Challenges increase as strength drops: months of weekly treatment trips ahead, assistance needed, full hair loss, losing weight, pain, sleeplessness, unspeakable rashes. Despite all -- the will to live and thrive persists.

Unfortunately, many of the steep costs associated with treatments have not been covered by insurance which results in extremely high out of pocket costs.

Please honor and assist this beautiful lady to help her win this fight for life. Her needs are modest but the spend for treatments, transportation and assistance are becoming a challenge.
