My name is Fridoline Wirba, and I am sharing my story because I am facing a serious medical situation that requires urgent support.
A few years ago, I collapsed suddenly in front of my family. They immediately called an ambulance, a decision that ultimately saved my life. At the hospital, doctors discovered a benign brain tumor pressing against my brain stem. That pressure was the cause of the collapse and made emergency surgery unavoidable.
The surgery was successful, and I entered a long period of monitoring and recovery. Over the next two years, I underwent regular MRI scans to closely observe the area and ensure there were no changes. Each follow-up brought reassuring news, with no signs of regrowth, and I believed the condition was stable.
In November 2025, that changed.
During what was expected to be another routine MRI, doctors discovered that the tumor had returned and had grown significantly. The growth is now substantial and poses a serious risk, making another major surgery necessary to prevent further neurological damage and potentially life-threatening complications.
The financial burden of this surgery is overwhelming. Between the operation itself, hospitalization, specialist care, imaging, and recovery, the total medical expenses are expected to reach approximately $500,000 (five hundred thousand dollars). Insurance coverage is limited, leaving a significant portion uncovered.
I am raising funds to help cover the cost of this necessary and life-saving surgery and the medical care that follows. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward treatment and recovery. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page also makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you are able to provide. Your generosity, encouragement, and prayers mean more than I can express during this difficult time.
