Please help replace Friday Smith’s car!

They were recently involved in a car accident that totaled their car, Coop. Even more tragically, they had only had the car for a few weeks before the accident.

Friday has worked with us at Tigertree for the past year and has been a bright spot in the day of every single person who comes through our doors. I’ve also gotten to witness the way they show up for their friends and community. Whether it’s a late-night phone call or helping someone finish a project, they’re always there when needed. I hope we can do the same for them now.

You might also know Friday as an award-winning drag performer. Beyond day-to-day transportation, this loss also affects their ability to perform outside of Columbus. The car was going to allow them to take gigs farther afield. That is much harder to do when relying on public transportation or favors, especially while hauling costumes and props. Anything you can contribute will help get them back on the road and back to doing what they love.
