My van, Fridaaaaah Joylita, is more than just a vehicle—she’s my home on wheels and the heart of my “Tour of Joy.” For the past few years, I’ve traveled across the USA, giving standing ovations to strangers, sharing therapeutic humor, and reminding over 6,000 people that they matter. Creating these joyful moments has been my way of spreading kindness and connection wherever I go.

Recently, Fridaaaaah Joylita suffered a major accident when a tire blew out, sending us into a 30-foot ravine. Thankfully, I am safe and staying with friends who have loaned me an RV while I recover. However, three of the five tires on my van need to be replaced before I can get back on the road and continue the “Tour of Joy.” Insurance isn’t covering the cost of these three tires, and without them, my mission to bring joy and encouragement to others is on hold.

Since the accident in May, I discovered a detached retina. I am going to have surgery and stay face down for a week or more. It may take up to two months to heal the eye enough to be able to travel at altitude.

The funds are both for tires for Fridah (most of which has been covered) and help with lodging and some bills due to not being able to work more than just a small number of hours per week. Normally the funds are for props for joyful moments (6290 so far), and travel between events or servicing others. Now am humbled to ask for me. I need some help while I recover.

I do have support at first while I recover. I may need human support as well depending on how this goes. Hopefully recovery is not too lengthy and Fridaah and I will be back on the road :)
