Tiny Freya. We got this underweight homeless kitten off the streets in the nick of time!
Freya is bony, dirty, and tired. Appearing on our Ring cams for 2 weeks, she worked hard all night, many nights, to source food while also evading the perils around her.
No one claimed her, despite many shared sightings. No micro chip. Our neighbors were able to grab her when she was tired and hungry and dropped Freya off. She is wary but did not hiss and allowed me to touch her to place her in a crate and place food near her. We will care for her, get her assessed, and take it from there.
Freya ate 2.5 ounces of kitten pâté in warm water with FortiFlora. She is exhausted, sleeping now on a heated pad in a safe crate in a heated room.
We have requested a Monday appointment at HCAH. Vet bill will be posted Monday, but we already know the intake will be exam, vaccines, de-wormer, flea treatment, microchip, nail trim, combo testing, and fecal. $525 plus we need supplies such as a litter box, her own carrier, flea comb, FortiFlora, blankets, and toys.
Thanks for pulling up for Freya!
