I've spent all of 2025 bouncing from couch to couch, never having housing security, I have faced move out deadline after move out deadline, I have had people take me in only to turn on me for needing help. I've been working myself ragged trying to make ends meet and raise funds for housing but I've hit a brick wall. There's a rent debt of $1500 on my record that I found out about when I got denied for an apartment roughly 2 months ago. It took me a month just to find out who to contact to start paying it off, and I'm struggling to make enough income to cover it on top of the cost of living. I need to pay this off quickly as the place I'm staying is highly insecure and I fear I may not have enough time to get things dealt with before I'm faced with sleeping on the street again.
