Help Freya Overcome Housing Crisis

UPDATE Aug 16th - I've made my first payment on the debt that is preventing me from getting into housing! I'm scrambling to find my next couch to sleep on starting Monday and don't have nearly enough funding to apply for an apartment yet. I have $1k, I estimate I need roughly $2k to get into an apartment but in the meantime I need to cover food, commute, and emergency costs that come as a consequence to having to relocate frequently and not having reliable access to a kitchen. Hey there. I'm Freya. I've been struggling to make a life for myself since I left Texas in search of safer places to live and I need your help. I've spent all of 2025 bouncing from couch to couch, never having housing security, I have faced move out deadline after move out deadline, I have had people take me in only to turn on me for needing help. I've been working myself ragged trying to make ends meet and raise funds for housing but I've hit a brick wall. There's a rent debt of $1500 on my record that I found out about when I got denied for an apartment roughly 2 months ago. It took me a month just to find out who to contact to start paying it off, and I'm struggling to make enough income to cover it on top of the cost of living. I need to pay this off quickly as the place I'm staying is highly insecure and I fear I may not have enough time to get things dealt with before I'm faced with sleeping on the street again.
