Hi everyone,
I’m asking for help for my beloved Freya. She picked me at the shelter 10 years ago by jumping on my shoulders—and she’s been my talkative, shoulder-sitting pirate kitty ever since. Freya snuggles into my neck as if she could crawl right into my heart, and everyone who meets her falls in love. She’s also a wonderful dog sister to Bri—those two are inseparable.
Right now, Freya needs surgery to remove a mass in her cheek, and I want to give her the care she needs. It’s been a perfect storm: I just moved into a new home, replaced my car after the old one broke down, and had Bri get sick with a hotspot, though she's recovering nicely—so I’m stretched. Even $1 helps.
I’m setting the goal at $1,000 to cover Freya’s $600 surgery and biopsy, with a cushion for post-surgery medications or any unexpected follow-up care. If we surpass what’s needed, any extra will go directly to Freya’s ongoing care and well-being.
Freya has been in perfect health all these years, still her lively, talkative, tabby self, and I know she’s got so much more joy ahead of her. She loves to chitter at the birds she watches from her window perch, curl up at night next to my head on my bed, and sit across my shoulders while I'm in class becoming a Substance Use Disorder Counselor.
This surgery will help ensure she continues living her best life, just as she always has.
I’m so grateful for any support to keep Freya healthy and happy.
