Hello friends. Our sweet cat Freya is battling a virus of unknown origin and is in the hospital for testing and observation. She has a very high fever and they have yet to figure out what is wrong. The estimate they gave us includes multiple tests, mycology, urinalysis, x-rays, fluids, treatments etc. It was way beyond our expectation, but we will do anything to help her get well.
As many of you know, we lost our wonderful cat Rowena to cancer in May of this year. We are simply not ready to lose another cat so soon, especially one who has been so instrumental in healing our hearts. She’s made such progress from being a shy former stray to trusting us and we know her story is far from over.
Ian and I hate asking for help, and we are sorry that we have to especially at a time when funds are tight. Anything at all that you can spare would mean the world to us, and to our girl. Thank you.
