This donation will help raise money for my brother Frank to get a handicap accessible van. Frankie recently received a custom wheelchair and now, he’s able to get around independently! We are so happy for him and would love to take his independence and happiness to the next level with an accessible van. We would be able to drive Frank, without needing someone to lift him out of a wheelchair to a car and vice versa. With an accessible van, he would be able to freewheel in and out of it. We would be able to take him to the grocery store, the park, really anywhere he wants! Not just Dr appointments! It’s been YEARS since he was able to do this. Medicaid will help cover the cost of the conversion-but we have to provide the van.
