On 4/30/26 my husband Sergio was detained by ICE and placed in the Victorville ICE detention center. Sergio and I recently got married and we're so excited to start the next phase of our relationship and life together

Sergio's detainment has not only been a challenge emotionally but also in trying navigate the process to challenge his detainment.

For those of you that know me, I struggle to get vulnerable and share my issues, but I don’t see another way I can get Sergio free without your support.

I'm working on retaining a federal lawyer to write a Habeas Corpus to try and get him released. This will cost a lot of money, which we don’t have (at least $10,000 in fees). That is where you come in. I need your help and support to be able to hire a good federal lawyer. All the pro-bono lawyers I have contacted so far are overwhelmed with the number of cases on their plate already and they don’t have the capacity to accept new detainee cases.
