In the early morning of November 12, 2025, my aunt, Leticia Servin, was detained in Aurora by ICE agents. The agents did not have a warrant at the time of her detention, and she has no criminal history.

My aunt has lived in the United States for over 20 years. She is a hardworking, loving mother and devoted wife who has always contributed positively to her community. For more than 15 years, she has worked at a fast-food restaurant, where she’s built strong connections and friendships through her kindness and dedication.

Our family learned about her arrest through videos shared online, and we are still in shock. My aunt had been staying home most of the time out of fear of the current immigration climate and had only gone out that morning to buy groceries when this happened. It appears she was unjustly targeted, followed, and pulled over because of the color of her skin.

Her husband and two children are heartbroken and now face serious financial hardship. My aunt was a vital source of income for her family, and without her, they are struggling to cover basic living expenses as well as the high cost of legal representation to fight her case.

We are asking for your support to help with her attorney fees and family expenses during this difficult time. Any contribution—no matter the amount—will make a difference and will be deeply appreciated by our entire family.

Thank you for standing with my aunt and helping us fight for her freedom.
