I am Jonathan's grandmother, but his family Grandpa Bill and son RJ are all asking for help. We can't do this alone. We are on a fixed income trying to raise Jonathan's son a 15 year old

This is extremely emotional and hard for me. As many of you know, our grandson now sits in prison for almost 6 years, on lies (no physical evidence).

Jonathan has always been a loving, giving person with the biggest heart. He has strong faith in God, and he has always reached out to others with his faith and love of Jesus.

He has many friends and family that know without a shadow of a doubt that he did not do the things he is accused of.

He was arrested two days after he broke it off with a girlfriend. The lawyer that represented him was terrible, did not do anything to help him, and would not hire a private investigator. Would not let him take a lie detector test either. Terrible injustice.

Long time sitting in a tiny cell scared for his life each and everyday for a crime that never happened.

He has never lost his faith in God. We talk almost daily, and he always ends with, "I'll be home soon, Grandma."

We have, without results, tried to help him get free. Finally, some hope. I just talked with Scott, a private investigator, for over an hour, and he has amazing ideas and is very sure he can get Jonathan free. But of course, he has to be paid for his work, he needs $3000 to start and then we can try with monthly payments for a total of $15,000 , and then he will hire a lawyer for $6,000 that will present the new case to the judge. The PI believes after hearing the evidence that he can get Jonathan totally free.

Please keep Jonathan, his son (who we are now raising), and us in your prayers. This is in God's hands if we can even start....
