Help Free Arjeta — A Survivor of Trafficking being Deported

Donation protected
Arjeta is a much-loved member of our Liverpool community, known for her kindness, strength, and courage.

She came to the UK after surviving modern-day slavery in Albania, where she was trafficked and trapped by a violent gang for three long years.
When she was finally rescued by the UK police, she said:

In Liverpool, Arjeta rebuilt her life with the help of friends and community groups. She was part of 4Wings CIC, supporting other women who had been through trauma. She joined Everton Women’s Walking Football and Movema, sharing joy and strength wherever she went.

But on October 1st, 2025, Arjeta was suddenly detained and now faces deportation back to Albania, where the same gang that trafficked her is still active.

She is terrified of being sent back into danger.

Arjeta’s legal team is working urgently to challenge her detention and deportation.
We are raising funds to cover her legal fees, case preparation, and any essential costs linked to her release and recovery.

Every contribution, no matter how small, helps ensure Arjeta gets the fair legal representation she deserves, and the chance to rebuild her life in safety, surrounded by her community.
