Hi everyone,
My name is Randi (Auntie RiRi) , and I’m raising funds for my amazing 2-year-old nephew, Fredrick, and his incredibly strong mom—my sister—who is by his side every moment as he begins the toughest journey of his young life.
Fredrick was officially diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on July 19th, 2025. But the road to answers wasn’t easy. For weeks, his mom knew something wasn’t right—he wasn’t himself. He was more tired than usual, bruising easily, and not bouncing back the way a healthy toddler should. Despite multiple visits to doctors, it took relentless advocating and finally a trip to Randall Children's Hospital emergency room before someone listened. She pushed for bloodwork—and that’s when everything changed.
The results came back fast. Fredrick had leukemia. He was immediately admitted for further testing, blood transfusions, and the beginning of a long treatment plan. That moment turned their world upside down.
Now, just a few days later, they’re preparing to be discharged from the hospital—but the fight is only just beginning. Fredrick has a long road ahead, including years of chemotherapy and countless doctor visits. His mom has stepped away from work so she can be with him every step of the way—managing medications, attending appointments, and providing the comfort only a mother can.
Fredrick is the kind of kid who lights up a room. He’s strong-willed, independent, stubborn in the best way, funny, and full of joy. Even through all this, he’s been cracking jokes, making faces, and charming the nurses with his bright spirit. He may be small, but his strength is mighty.
This fundraiser is to help support their basic needs—rent, groceries, bills, transportation—so Fredrick’s mom can stay focused on what matters most: helping her son heal.
Every donation, share, and message of support means the world to our family. We are overwhelmed, but not alone—because of people like you who are willing to walk with us through this.
Thank you for being part of Team Fredrick. Together, we believe he can beat this.
With love and deep gratitude,
Auntie RiRi
