Help us save Frederick’s life the 14 years old abandoned cat

Imagine you are a 72 years old guy your family allows you to roam around the community, and one day you feel sick and you go back home to rest and you find no home!! Doors closed, family left, you try to get some cold AC from the next building exit door maybe it will help you cool down your body temperature in a 50 degree weather, you feel tired and dehydrated as you have sever pain in your mouth and you can’t eat and drink as before, you then realize that you are old and left alone, no family to look after you at this age and no more home and no more AC!! This is the story of Fredrick, the 14 years old cat, who doesn’t know any other home than his home, for 14 years!! He doesn’t know the tricks the younger cats do to get homes, he can only try to open his broken jaw to tell you he is hungry or he is not ok and tired, left for his destiny, neighbors of the community decided they will not give up on Frederick and they will try to help him and collect enough donations to treat him, we took Fredrick to the first vet who immediately said put him to sleep, but Fredrick has a young spirit still, he wants to live he just needs treatment and rest! Second vet said there is hope but he needs time. Frederick has a broken jaw it is confirmed by xray and when he received his first antibiotics dose, he started eating and showing everyone he deserves to live

Fredrick is hospitalized at Creekside vet clinic, Dubai right now, he doesn’t need a surgery for his jaw but he definitely needs dental work, his teeth are rotten and his mouth is severely infected, causing his so much pain, he is severely dehydrated, his estimated treatment period is around 3 weeks and now he is on IV but we can’t do dental until we have enough funds for him

We are the community rescuers hope that people will come together to help Fredrick in his treatment journey to get better and help us find him a new home for his final years on this planet

Fredrick was always a nice cat and he never had a fight with others when he was roaming the streets, he is FIV and Felv negative but positive for Corona but not FIP

He is microchipped and neutered and we don’t know about his vaccine it doesn’t show on records as he is not registered in municipality
