Help a Dedicated Teacher and Father of Eight Achieve a Better Future

Hello, my name is Frederick Slack, and I'm writing to you today as a Special Education teacher and proud father of eight wonderful children. My wife and I are in a terribly difficult spot presently. She has had an increasing number of health challenges that make daily functioning very hard, and on only my teaching income, we sadly have slid into debt over the last year.

Her serious physical and mental health problems, due to which she suffers enormously regarding pain and stress every day, will not be alleviated if the income remains at its present value. On the other hand, my wife is very keen to be an active stay-at-home mom; however, her condition has rendered it close to impossible to keep up with household chores or any other activity that involves physical movement.

Desiring to provide my family with a more stable and secure future, I opted for further education in enrolling for study in the Master's Degree in Educational Administration. This degree will open up better working opportunities, which are expected to bring in financial stability, so much needed by my family. Unfortunately, the cost of tuition is too high for us to bear right now, and we can't afford more loans. Though I applied for scholarships and grants, none were granted to me.

That's why I'm asking for some assistance from you humbly: if our friends and family could contribute a little, then I will be able, for that matter, to pay tuition and housing for my family to finish off the degree, get a job that is able to change my life, and secure a better future for my children.

Most of the money raised will be used to pay tuition and housing. We will pay rent. Any left over will go to the debt.
